Center for Interdisciplinary Studies on Ethnic-Racial Relations, Social Movements, Agrarian Issues and Food Sovereignty

Coordinated by professor Júnia Marise Matos de Sousa. The Center for Interdisciplinary Studies on Ethnic-Racial Relations, Social Movements and Food Security" of the Social Service course/UFV originated from the Research Directory "Interdisciplinary Center for Agrarian Studies and Food Sovereignty" which was built to meet the demands of Teaching, Research and Extension of the undergraduate and postgraduate course in Social Work at UFV. With the creation of the Social Service Course/UFV, new demands emerged, especially the inclusion of new lines. of research and the expansion of the interdisciplinary dimension of the Directory's studies. Thus, since 2018, coordination has been established between UFV and external researchers, which resulted in articles, book organization and participation in scientific events.
