Center for Studies in Public Administration, Government and Society

Coordinated by professor Suely de Fátima Ramos Silveira, it involves a multidisciplinary approach with members from different subareas of applied social sciences. Its main thematic areas are: Efficiency and Allocation of Public Resources; Gender and Public Policies; Social Management and Third Sector; Regional development, Tourism and Innovation. The group always adopts qualitative and quantitative methodological approaches, which speaks in favor of the quality of research, promotes better student training and provokes constructive dialogue in the scientific community. The group's members have actively participated in scientific promotion networks and institutions in Brazil and abroad and have been awarded several awards, most of them at prominent scientific events in the country. The Group has published in several periodicals in Brazil and abroad and is frequently present at the biggest events in the area in the country.
