I National Seminar: Family and Social Policies in Brazil/UFV

The Postgraduate Program in Social Service (PPGPS) at the Federal University of Viçosa invites you to the I NATIONAL SEMINAR: FAMILY AND SOCIAL POLICIES IN BRAZIL which will be held on the campus of the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), in Viçosa, MG, in period from October 16th to 18th, 2017.

Over its 25 years of existence, the PPGPS has promoted annual events linked, above all, to research groups. However, in recent years we have realized the need to extend these debates in a more integrated way, to give greater visibility to the research produced in the Program and in Programs in related areas. The event is therefore part of the Program's actions associated with scientific exchange, research and teaching and its commitment to developing conceptual and methodological skills related to the production of knowledge about Family and Society.

Regarding the proposed theme, the 1st NATIONAL SEMINAR: FAMILY AND SOCIAL POLICIES IN BRAZIL aims to create a space for debate and discussions about the reality, context and social transformations related to the family and social policies in Brazil. In addition to the theoretical-practical reflection on the topic, the event is intended to enable the dissemination of research results in the area of Social Service and in areas related to the topic, such as Social Service, Economy, Administration, Law, Architecture, Geography, Education, Early Childhood Education and Psychology.

Therefore, the challenge is launched to teachers, researchers, consultants and professionals with professional practices linked to the family and social policies so that they can bring their contributions to the I NATIONAL SEMINAR: FAMILY AND SOCIAL POLICIES IN BRAZIL.

We count on everyone's support to put on a great Seminar.

Cordial and respectful greetings,

PPGPS Coordination
